About Titan Dental Design
Titan Dental Design is orthodontic treatment-planning and clear aligner design software for doctors and dental labs. It takes a digital dental scan through segmentation, tooth movement and staging, then produces the files needed to manufacture aligners. ClearAdvance LLC develops Titan in Irvine, California.

Who uses Titan
Orthodontists and dentists use Titan to plan clear aligner treatments and to print aligners in their own office or order them from a lab. Dental labs use it to receive cases, plan treatments, get doctor approvals and manage production. Titan for doctors and Titan for labs have more detail.
Platforms
Full treatment planning runs in a web browser and in the native Windows and Mac apps. The iOS app, Titan Dental Design Viewer, is a mobile companion for reviewing and approving plans, managing print orders and scanning faces. An Android app is also available. Download Titan from this site or from the official app stores linked on the download page.
Scanner and printer support
- Intraoral scanner cloud integrations: iTero, 3Shape, Medit, Allied Star, Panda and Runyes. Titan also imports scan files directly (import guide).
- Direct-print exports: LuxCreo and Graphy (LuxCreo guide).
- Other printers: STL export of the staged models (export guide).
CBCT and real roots
Titan imports CBCT volumes. Its server-side AI segments the teeth, the maxilla and mandible and the mandibular canal, registers each scan crown to its CBCT tooth and joins the real root to the crown, so that treatment planning can use the patient's own roots. This has been available since June 2026 (CBCT guide).
How pricing works
Titan is free to download and to plan treatments in, with introductory free credits. You pay only when a treatment is ready for printing, and tiered pricing lowers the cost as volume grows.
