Roles and Permissions

The roles and permissions ensure that each team member can focus only on their own job and access exclusively what they need to perform their work—nothing more, nothing less. This keeps sensitive data protected, prevents interference between roles, and ensures that everyone stays within their area of responsibility.

How to Assign a Role

To assign or change a user's role in an office, follow these steps:

📋 Steps:

  • Go to the Profile Tab in the Doctor Dashboard
  • Tap the "Show" button for the office where you want to manage roles
  • Once inside the office, navigate to the "Staff" tab
  • This section displays all users in the office with their current roles
  • Change the Role:
    • Click on any user's role to open the dropdown menu
    • Select the desired new role
    • The change will be applied automatically

⚠️ Note: To change roles, you need the ChangeStaffRole permission. If you do not have this permission, you cannot modify other users roles.

Roles

Role Description
Doctor Healthcare professional responsible for patient diagnosis and treatment. Has full access to clinical management.
Coordinator Doctor's assistant responsible for patient registration, data entry, and clinical documentation.
OfficeManager Office administrator with limited permissions: can only view staff list and spend credits.
TreatmentSupervisor Senior technical specialist responsible for supervising TreatmentTechnicians and overseeing treatment planning.
TreatmentTechnician Technical specialist responsible for planning and designing aligner treatments under supervision.
PrintingTechnician Technician specialized in 3D printing of aligners and managing print orders.

SeePatientList Allows viewing the complete list of patients in the doctor dashboard The patient table in the Doctor Dashboard (Patient tab) does not display patient rows. Users cannot see any patient information in the list.

ModifyPatientData Allows modifying general patient data (address, phone, etc.) • Cannot create new treatments or new files (CT scans, notes, etc.) for the patient. The Add button is blocked.
• The Add Photos button in the photo gallery is blocked.

• The button in the main Doctor Dashboard menu that leads to the Finance Dashboard is blocked.
  └─ SpendCredits Allows spending credits on treatments and services Access to the content of the Lab Tab is blocked, preventing users from spending credits on lab services.
